NEW: 270V Vita 62 power supply design superior to Vita 86 in cost and functions

PCI Systems Inc. has modified the PCB structural design to use the current Vita62 connector up to 500V inputs.

"it is a matter of intelligent layout and PCB material for a high voltage input stage to withstand those environmetal conditions. Simply isolating the contacts and NOT changing the footprint does not help at all. Vita86 connectors cost more than $1,200 compared to $30 for standard VITA62" states Claus Gross, President of PCI Systems Inc.
